Over the years, both the accommodation and the restaurant have evolved – and on 17 June 2022, a brand-new exclusive hotel was inaugurated, offering spa, restaurant, conference facilities and event spaces under one roof.
It is likely the exceptional location, right by the water’s edge, that has attracted both Swedish and international guests for decades. Since the early 1960s, the site has offered dining and accommodation that appealed to a wide audience – especially during the summer months.

Stroll along cobblestone streets, explore cosy boutiques and soak in the welcoming atmosphere. Picturesque Åhus boasts a rich history, and in this idyllic summer town there is plenty to discover.
Located in Skåne by Hanö Bay, Åhus is an old town with roots dating back to the Iron Age. In the past, the town was known for its three “sins” – eel, snus and spirits. The production of spirits remains highly relevant today thanks to the world-famous Absolut Vodka, whose distillery is still located in the harbour.
